All Signs Print & Wrap commissioned us to design their new custom-coded website design last month with the added option of our class-leading SEO services. With the knowledge that we would be doing SEO after the new website design went live, we did some background work during the website development process. This background work for our SEO normally consists of all of the meta tags, alt image tags, page titles and the all powerful h1 headline content.
With all of the behind-the-scenes work done, we set about the keyword dominant SEO pages. These are pages of content that appear in the sitemap but not in the main website navigation. Each of these content pages is designed to target one keyword only. So we rewrite the meta tags, alt image tags, page titles and the all h1 headline content to suit the target keyword only.
While all of the standard website pages share target keyword content, both in the front-end and back-end, these SEO specific content pages only focus on a single keyword. We then make one of these new content pages for each of the keywords we are optimising the website for.
Some agencies that make the typical WordPress websites will say they do SEO, and charge accordingly, what we see when we examine their work, is that they mostly just install the Yoast SEO WordPress plugin. This is a 5 minute job and doesn't begin to cover the whole SEO package. By having a competent website designer perform SEO on a code and content level, there are many more places we can hide target keywords. This, in-turn, improves the rankings dramatically.
With All Signs Print & Wrap, there wasn't a great deal of competition in the SEO space, so achieving results was a given. By doing the whole package now, we pre-empt other competitors who may try and raise the exposure of their own websites in Google Search, thus keeping our client ranking above the rest.
