A Content Management System (CMS) is a term used to describe a website product which allows end users the ability to login and make changes to the content of the website themselves. While there are some great CMS products on the market such as WordPress or Joomla, we find that these products are clunky, slow, not search engine friendly and lock away the ability for a designer to explore the limits of what can be achieved aesthetically.
The standard CMS products are also extremely vulnerable to threat of attack from hackers. The reason why the standard CMS platforms are so vulnerable to these attacks is because when your website utilises these programs, it has to take on the entire platform, of which you'll typically use no more than 5% of the features the entire platform allows. This leaves 95% of the CMS system you are using left ignored, but they are still there as doorways to full control of your website. Hackers target these doorways to probe for vulnerabilities and when they identify weaknesses, they have identified weaknesses on every other CMS website that uses that platform.

Allcorp custom developed a content management system for this client so they can manage the inventory of their online catalogue. We've designed our CMS for this so that the client doesn't have to worry about image sizing or font styles, they just upload text and images which our CMS automatically formats into styling and sizing that is consistent with the rest of the website and products in the catalogue. We've also attached a custom lead generator so that their customers can popullate a wishlist of products in their catalogue and add these products to an enquiry on their website form fields.

We developed a custom backend for the Cairns Bulk Meats website which allows them to perform a variety of tasks. From managing their specials by logging in and changing prices and quantities to popullating their own catalogue of specialised products for sale. For example, on their Meat Packs page they have a set of tiles with an image, title, description and price field. This component is one of the sections that they can manage themselves whenever they want. All of this is linked up with a call to action lead generation form.

This client wanted to showcase all of their products on their website in a catalogue system. This is then used by their prospective customers to generate a wishlist of available products to make enquiries and purchases from. The client popullates the catalogue within a preset template that we coded. Using the secure website portal, they can login and manage details within each product including adding icons and images, pdf downloads and technical specifications. They can also build the main website navigation as they build the catalogue to house their thousands of products.

This is another custom coded CMS we developed to improve the TPP Rural website. This website has a 'browse our range' section which is a catalogue organised in sub sections that showcase information and images about their products. All of this is entered into the site from a secure backend and the client can add as many products as they want. They can also change content and popullate their product listings with a selection of logos and icons to make it look professional. Each product also has a long description with further product data.
