Off the back of the recently completed video production for this client last week, we've now completed the complimenting Cairns website design for this campaign. As we have a multi-faceted approach to this marketing campaign, we need to get all of our ducks in a row before we can proceed.
Fortunately, at Allcorp we specialise in getting things done and in the course of less than 2 weeks we've already shot, edited and produced the video and now the website, photography and copywriting is all finalised as well.
The reason why we needed to shoot the video project before moving onto the Cairns website design project is because we have an entire campaign for this project that is all centred on the video element. The video has been published to YouTube and very soon we're going to start running YouTube ads to our targeted pool of YouTube users located in Cairns and Darwin.
When potential customers see this new video advertisement, they can click to visit the website. When they arrive at the website they are going to find the same look and feel as the video, even the same video asset is playing in the background of the website.
This gives a campaign a good head start because we've harvested 2 touch-points from our prospective customer in one action. Touch-points in advertising are nothing new, but basically, the more touch-points you can have with a potential client, the more trust is built. In this instance we have prospective customers watching the YouTube ad, they then like what they see and click to visit the website, they then see the same familiar video again.
