Following on from the design of the logo and brand for Hudson's Contracting & Diesel Repairs, we've now completed their Cairns website design. This is essential as the core of our marketing strategy with this client as we intend to grow the business with an upcoming social media campaign.
There's little point in embarking on a social media campaign unless the fundamentals of the business are in place, and along with the brand design package we delivered earlier, is complete with this new Cairns website design.
As with Allcorp projects, this website design has been meticulously custom coded to ensure it is both ultra fast to load and also designed to look less like a standard WordPress template. We've coded in adaptive break points to ensure compliance with any screen size and type. These css break points are basically adjustments that are made to elements that make up the website design when they no longer appear with design clarity.
For example, there is a few lines of css code that will command the size and positioning of the website logo. This may be set to a percentage figure of the space it is occupying, for example the width could be set to 50%. When the screen gets smaller, so too will the logo, so we engineer in css break points that tell the logo to display differently when the screen gets too small. With this we can not only change the size and location of an element, we can remove it completely and make it appear somewhere else if needed.
It's this level of coding that makes Allcorp website design projects unique and also ensures that they work on all devices and screen sizes. It also gives us the ability to function with design freedom and not be constrained by preset rules contained in a WordPress template.
As this business never had a Cairns website design in the past, we also had our copywriting team write all of the website design wording while our photographer went on site in Mareeba to capture the image assets. From here we can get to work on the marketing stages of their project to ultimately deliver results of increased customer interest in the overall business.
