We've been taking care of the marketing needs of Pool Pro Redlynch since 2015 and their current website represents their 4th Cairns website design version. This latest evolution of their Cairns website design was completed in 2021, so it's still got a lot of life left in it.

The client expressed an interest in growing the website with an eCommerce style catalogue of products that they could manage themselves internally. As it is a custom coded Cairns website design, we were able to add to the existing framework with our custom website development products.

Our Cairns website developer uses technology including php, MySQL, and javascript to create a managed CMS customised for the customer requirements. This was based on discussions with the client as to what they wanted to achieve with their online store, what features and functions they wanted to incorporate and how they wanted customers to interact with the website when making enquiries or purchases.

We start with a blank screen and write all of the code that powers this engine from scratch. This in turn provides a cleaner development language and more concise coding structure. Wheras the WordPress website administrator would need to find a suitable plugin to install that almost-nearly-sorta matches the client expectation and then chop it down to remove unwanted elements. The WordPress plugin then contains sometimes up to 90% of unnecessary code. Messy, unnecessary and unused code elements in websites make the website prone to failure, makes the website glitchy and vulnerable to attack. It is also not favourable to search engines to have unorganised and undefined code structure.

The website now showcases a range of top selling products that the client manages themselves internally with the backend structure we have custom developed for them. This gives them the ability to manage all of their inventory, including prices, photos, descriptions, headlines, photos, files and documents pertaining to each product. When they are working on the website they are working in a live environment and products that they feed in through the administrative backend feed into the main website with controlled font sizing, image sizing and general styling to ensure the front end of the website displays all of their products in a consistent and neat way. We use Bootstrap 5 coding incorporated to the main site structure to make this management interface possible.
