This is a new website design project for one of our long term clients at Mount Tyson Hotel. Proving how resilient a Townsville website design product from Allcorp actually is, their last website version was designed by us all the way back in 2013.
We do recommend that a business redesign their website every 2 to 3 years, so 13 years is a very long time in website years. Their old website even used Adobe Flash Player, which hasn't been supported by web browsers since 2020, when Adobe themselves stopped giving it updates.
This new, custom-coded Townsville website design is based on our html and css responsive platform. It is more important now to ensure a website displays properly on a mobile device as this is where the vast majority of traffic comes from. Our website designs have the importance of mobile viewing in mind, and we always rearrange the same assets that are displayed on a desktop version to the smaller mobile screen format. Some website designers opt to remove images and logos as the screen gets smaller, but at Allcorp, the way that we customise every website design ensures that the overall design still holds together in mobile format.
It is our custom website design service that allows us the freedom to tune a website on all screen sizes and not be constrained with a basic website template. It is the intricacy of our design work that makes our websites stand apart from the rest and we strive to carry all design assets to mobile devices as well as desktop and laptop screens.
We were even able to reuse some of the old image assets from the original photoshoot we did for this client back in 2013. The copywriting was further improved to reflect the business as it is today and we also upgraded the standard SEO to give the website a better chance of maintaining its organic Google ranking.
